It will automatically adjust to the correct input voltage for safe operation. Does this transformer convert frequency (50Hz / 60Hz)? No. This unit only converts voltage. It does not change frequency. The output frequency will remain the same as the input (50Hz or 60Hz). Is it normal to hear a humming sound? Yes. A low humming sound is normal during operation, especially under load. It is caused by magnetic vibration inside the transformer core and does not affect performance or safety.
