No. This is a deep cycle battery designed for energy storage, not for engine starting or as a power battery. Frequent high-current charge/discharge will significantly reduce battery life. What should I know about charging for the first time or after long-term storage? New or idle batteries require a full deep charge before use. We recommend using a constant voltage, current-limited charging mode. The charging current should be between 0.1C and 0.25C (C = battery capacity). What kind of charger should I use? Always use a charger that matches the battery’s voltage and current specifications. Avoid using low-quality or incompatible chargers, as they can cause overcharging or undercharging and damage the battery. Can this battery be used in a solar system? Can it be connected in series or parallel? Yes. This is an energy storage battery suitable for solar systems, UPS, marine, and RV power supplies. Not intended for starting vehicle or ship engines. Series connection is recommended. If connected in parallel, do not exceed four batteries. Can I discharge the battery to 0%? To avoid shortening the battery cycle life, it is recommended not to discharge the battery below 30%. If not in use for a long time, fully charge the battery before storage and recharge it every three months to maintain battery activity. How should I charge the battery correctly? Use a compatible charger (Float: 13.50V-13.80V, Cyclic: 14.40V-14.70V). Shallow charging and discharging (using between 30% and 90% of the capacity) can extend cycle life. Constant voltage should not exceed 14.8V for a single 12V battery. Can I connect a 100Ah battery with a 200Ah battery? No. Batteries connected together should have the same capacity (Ah), same voltage (V), and most importantly, the same battery type (AGM). It is better if they are from the same brand. What if the battery fails to work? New batteries must be fully charged before first use. If charging fails, try small-current charging and discharging to activate. For batteries inactive due to long-term inactivity without regular recharging, small-current charging for activation.
