Do I lose my 30-day schedules when I change the 2 AA batteries? No. The timer features a power failure memory system. Your watering durations and frequencies are saved internally. When you insert fresh batteries, you only need to set the current clock time, and your schedules will resume. Does this 3 outlet timer need a smartphone app to set up the 30-day schedule? No app, WiFi, or Bluetooth is required. All schedules are easily programmed using the large LCD screen and physical buttons. It is completely standalone and senior-friendly.
