These chisels are designed for profesional woodworking and made by a small tool manufacturer who only supply professional tools to high quality requirement brand in North America and Europe. The blades are made of high-quality chromium-vanadium (100Cr-V) steel. Blades are well heat treated in salt-bath furnace and tempered to achieve a minimal hardness of 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. Subsequent fine-grinding especially for back ground and mirror polishing finished ensure you can easily sharpen and keep the cutting edge sharp, making your woodworking work fast and precise. As with all edge tool, they'll need sharpening before use. They are ground at a 25 degree bevel and have 1.0mm thickness in both size flange you can make perfect pairing chisels for dovetails. Blades are 3 3/4" to 4 3/16" long. Handles are 4 3/4” long and 1-3/8 width with 1 stainless steel ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work.
