Visit app.8bitdo.com/Ultimate-Software-V2 and install Elite-Software-V2 on your PC or Mac.2. Plug the controller and the USB receiver into two separate PC ports.3. Open the app, tick “Get beta firmware”, hit Update for both units. When the bar hits 100 % you’re ready for Switch 2. Pair with Switch 2 Slide the mode switch to “BT”. Hold HOME until the LED blinks, then tap the pair button for 3 s; the LED flashes rapidly. On Switch 2 open Controllers → Change Grip/Order. The pad appears automatically. LED goes solid → play time. Shake-to-Wake Set 1. Update both Controller and the adapter to the newest firmware; set the controller to S-mode and and make sure it’s in pairing.2. Pop out the right Joy-Con, press HOME to open the console’s Change Grip/Order screen, and let the controller connect.3. Put the NS2 console back to sleep. Now one quick shake of the controller wakes Switch 2 instantly.
