TRIPOD BASE STABILIZING: Extend the tripod legs out until the crossbars are parallel to the floor / 90° angle with central pole then turn the knob to secure base for steaming. In rare cases, if the top section does not extend out easily the first time, that means the metal rivet got stuck in the tube from temperature pressure in the shipping container. To fix, simply attach the hanger head for leverage, then pull up hard to release it. It will work properly after the rivet is no longer stuck. Deluxe Model's Horizontal Extender Unique to The Steamer Stand DELUXE, this removable and adjustable piece can be attached to the TOP section of the central pole and slide up and down to desired location within the TOP section. *TIP* If you need the horizontal extender lower, then simply only extend the top section of the tripod. The arms move in/out from 13" to 26.5" to spread out the item's fabric to ensure smooth steaming results. The horizontal extension of the fabric also helps in stabilizing the garment, for efficient, sway free steaming. This accessory should only be attached when actively using it to steam an item.
