How to Install the Aquor House Hydrant How do I know what size I need? Our hydrants follow industry-standard sizing. Size will be determined by your spigot location and siding type. Typically, for plumbing connections in-wall you'll need a 2", 4", or 6". For a basement or crawlspace, you'll need a 8", 10", or 12". Can I install the Aquor House Hydrant myself? Yes! Installing the Aquor House Hydrant is similar to replacing a standard spigot. It’s an easy DIY project as long as you have basic plumbing knowledge and tools. Fits any siding. What’s the difference between the House Hydrant V1+ and V2+? House Hydrant V1+: Circular entry hole for easier retrofits and external vacuum breaker. House Hydrant V2+: Oval entry hole, ideal for new construction, includes built-in vacuum breaker. Is the Hydrant freeze-proof and winter-ready? To ensure proper drainage and winterization, it's best to unplug your connector from the hydrant after each use, especially during the cold months.
