Internal strings and an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression gives the Cantina Line a wide dynamic range of highs and lows. Two fixed sets of four micro-coiled metal cajon strings give a snapping snare effect. These strings are hand-wound in the style of master cajon builder, José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz, and respond with the upmost sensitivity. The 7-Ply, 9 mm thick Baltic Birch resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth. A decorative wood inlay adds a touch of elegance to the overall appearance. Features an exquisite Limba frontplate. Made in Spain.

DRIVING THE SNARE SOUND: spanning the frontplate inside are two fixed sets of six custom, hand wound micro-coiled steel cajon strings for a beautifully lush snare tone; they're pre-tuned to create a sensitive touch and won't require adjustment
ZOOM IN: the cajon is rounded at the corners and sanded down to form thumb notches where your hands lay in their natural playing position; this gives you exceptional hand contact with more comfort
LOOKING UNDERNEATH: four silicone feet keep the cajon stable on any surface (wood, laminate, carpet, brick, concrete); these feet protect the cajon while eliminating vibrations to preserve the instrument's crystal-clear sound quality
