Turn the volume dial up until sound reaches a comfortable loudness; then adjust the frequency control until speech sounds clear, but not tinny or uncomfortable. A full dome seal matters too, so try each size until sound is rich with no whistling. How do I put them in correctly? Place the smaller side into your ear canal, then pull your ear up and back with your other hand and gently push it fully into place. Try all included dome sizes to find your best seal. If you hear whistling, the dome isn't sealed - reseat it. What is the thin wire, and how do I take them out? That's the removal line (pull antenna). To take a device out, gently grasp the line and lift — it's designed for safe, easy removal. Don't cut or trim it: it's required to remove the device safely, and cutting it can permanently damage the aid. How long until I get used to them? Wear them as much as you comfortably can from day one — consistent, all-day wear helps your ears and brain adapt fastest. It can take 2-4 weeks to fully adjust to the amplification, and some fullness or awareness of new sounds is normal at first.
