Product Description Hillman Neoprene Fender Washers are sealing and cushioning fasteners that spread load over a wide area while keeping joints watertight. Sized at 3/16" x 1-1/4", they place a broad, flexible rubber face under a bolt or screw to protect soft or finished materials from the metal fastener and to seal out water where a connection is exposed to weather. The oversized face relative to the bore spreads clamping pressure to prevent the fastener from pulling through thin or soft material such as sheet metal, fiberglass, or panels. As the fastener is tightened, the flexible neoprene body compresses around it to form a weather-resistant seal that helps block moisture from entering the hole. Molded from black neoprene rubber, these washers resist water, weather, and mild chemicals while staying flexible over time.
