The precision engineered, angled ribbed insulator design keeps flash-over causing oil, grime, and debris out of the spark plug wire or coil on plug boot, ensuring electrical energy goes into the spark plug - not around it – preventing potentially damaging misfire. A metal-glass fused resistor maximizes interference suppression, protecting sensitive onboard electrical components like engine management modules, sensors, sound systems, and other sensitive electronics from undesirable RF energy. Premium nickel-plated rolled threads provide maximum resistance to corrosion - ensuring the spark plug removes easily from the cylinder head without galling - and does not require anti-seize during installation - saving time.
