Product description How accurate is this breathalyzer? Can I rely on it for driving decisions? This device uses a semiconductor sensor to provide a rapid estimation of your Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC). It provides a reference value but is NOT a medical or legal device. Do not rely on it solely for driving decisions. Why does it show 0.0 or a low reading after drinking? The sensor has a detection threshold. Readings below 0.05‰ BAC display as 0.00. For best accuracy, wait 15-20 minutes after drinking and rinse your mouth with water before testing. Also ensure the device is working correctly. Why are my back-to-back test results different? This is normal. Your BAC changes as your body metabolizes alcohol. BAC is highly personal and depends on many biological factors beyond just the alcohol consumed. For a stable reading, take multiple tests 10 minutes apart and calculate the average. Can I buy the mouthpieces seperately? We don't sell mouthpieces seperately. These mouthpieces are reusable, you can reuse it after clean it. For hygiene reasons, It is strongly recommended NOT to share the same mouthpiece with others. How do I store and maintain the device? Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place. Avoid liquids, extreme temps, and humidity to protect the internal sensor and electronics.
