The KastKing Kapstan Saltwater Spinning Rod series is built for strength, durability, and reliability in demanding saltwater environments. Designed for both boat and surf fishing, Kapstan rods combine advanced materials with purpose-built components for powerful fish-fighting performance without feeling bulky. Each rod is built with a 100% graphite blank featuring S-Curve construction and Nano-Resin technology for strength, lifting power, and responsiveness. The lightweight blank maintains sensitivity while providing the backbone needed for hard-fighting saltwater species. A 2-piece PTS construction improves power transfer while maintaining portability. Kapstan rods feature reinforced stainless steel double-foot guides with Zirconium Oxide rings, reducing line friction and ensuring smooth performance with braided, mono, and fluorocarbon lines. Boat and surf models use rod-specific reel seats. Boat rods feature aluminum double uplocking reel seats for strength and security, while surf rods use lightweight graphite reel seats for better balance and casting distance. Ergonomic handles ensure comfort and control, including rubber cross-wrap grips, contoured foregrips, split-grip boat handles, and full-length surf grips for different fishing needs. Available in 7 models from 6'6" to 12', ideal for inshore, offshore, surf, and pier fishing targeting species such as redfish, striped bass, drum, snook, tarpon, and more. An oversized hook keeper stores larger rigs and reduces tangles.
