This dedicated strip wash soap is engineered to lift old waxes, sealants, glazes, silicone dressings, and surface oils from vehicle paint and exterior surfaces. When you need to start fresh, Clean Slate removes old waxes and sealants to reveal the true paint condition before correction. Clean Slate pulls those layers off so you can see the real defect level, pick the right pad and product combo, and avoid the frustration of polishing through hidden product residue for better polishing results. Glass coatings, Si02 sprays, and full nine-hour ceramic coatings need a clean, oil-free surface to bond correctly. Clean Slate is the final wash step before IPA panel wipe and coating application to help improve coating bonding. This pre-detail prep wash works with a pressure washer, foam cannons, foam guns, and traditional two-bucket wash setups for prep for polishing steps or pre-coating wash routines. Use this pre wash for car detailing across cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and trailers. Pair with Chemical Guys ceramic coatings, JetSeal, Butter Wet Wax, or your favorite finishing product to lay down a fresh layer of paint care after the reset wash.
