Captain Jim, founder of Chesapeake Crab Connection began his crab days at 4 am as a waterman along the shores of Annapolis and the surrounding waterways which marked his prime spots for sinking pots and setting lines. The well weathered 38-foot crab boat, made of oak and larch proudly motored with other crabbers who shared the same passion in catching the best crabs to sell to local Maryland restaurants. Now, 3 decades later, Captain Jim and his fleet of boats and crab houses supply freshly caught blue crabs nationwide.
