The chisel sharpener’s two adjustable jaws securely hold the blade at the correct bevel angle against the whetstone surface. This ensures that every honing session is accurate, consistent, and efficient.
Optional Sharpening Angles ：Rather than guessing the bevel angle by sight, this honing guide set includes an angle gauge that allows you to quickly determine the blade’s bevel angle. Additionally, our uniquely designed angle fixture uses a positioning block to ensure the blade is set to the exact length every time. This greatly streamlines the sharpening preparation process and enhances honing precision.
Wide Compatibility: The honing guide securely accommodates chisels and plane blades with widths ranging from 0.1 inch to 2.55 inches, readily satisfying your diverse sharpening requirements. In addition, our extended roller consistently delivers fast, smooth, and stable sharpening at the proper bevel angle, irrespective of the blade's width.
Simple to Use: Begin by using the angle gauge to measure the chisel’s bevel angle. Next, set the positioning block on the fixture to match that same angle. Place the chisel sharpening jig onto the fixture, and turn the knob on either side to widen the opening. Insert the blade so that its tip contacts the groove on the positioning block, then tighten the screw to secure the blade. Finally, roll the chisel honing jig back and forth on the whetstone.
Designed for Longevity: This chisel honing guide is primarily constructed from anodized, solid CNC-machined aluminum alloy and stainless steel,the high-precision markings ensure excellent readability even in low-light conditions and will not fade or wear away over time.
