Product Description Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a premium grade, 7-mil thick, strong all-weather vinyl insulating tape. It is designed to perform continuously in ambient temperatures up to 221F (105C). The tape is for indoor and outdoor use, conformable for cold weather application down to 0F (-18C). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids, corrosion and varying weather conditions (including UV exposure). The combination of an elastic PVC backing and aggressive pressure sensitive rubber-based adhesive provides moisture-tight electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. This electrical tape is compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations, rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, and epoxy and polyurethane resins. From the Manufacturer Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a 7 mil professional grade all-weather vinyl black electrical insulating tape with a strong adhesive and highly elastic backing. It readily conforms to irregular surfaces for exceptional water-resistant electrical and mechanical protection. PVC backing with professional-grade electrical insulating properties provides primary electrical insulation for splices up to 600V and protective jacketing. This electrical tape is UL Listed and CSA Certified, and offers excellent resistance to sunlight, abrasion, moisture, copper corrosion, alkalis, and acids, and is flame-retardant.
