The new CE Level 2 armor (TÜV‑certified) is thinner, more breathable, more flexible, and performs better in cold weather. Both new and original versions ship randomly, so yours may differ from the main image. I prefer the other armor version. Can I exchange it? Of course. Are the new honeycomb armor pads certified for real motorcycle riding? Yes. The new armor is CE Level 2 certified (TÜV-tested) for motorcycle use – not just general impact protection. The triangular honeycomb absorbs impact and stays flexible in cold weather. That’s a higher standard than basic CE Level 2 pads. I bought black/army green in size 34 and they fit perfectly. Why is the blue size 34 tighter? The black and army green fabric has more stretch. The blue version uses a less elastic fabric for a snugger fit. If you prefer the blue, we recommend sizing up for better comfort.
