Once a god is created the player begins the game by pulling cards from a tarot deck and an online generator for the Major Arcana. Each card represents a specific prompt that will guide players and their god through their journey. Gameplay The gameplay follows four phases represented by specific tarot cards: birth, prime, decline, and death. Before players can begin these phases they must create a god. The book presents the important attributes of creating a god and character prompts to aid players in creation. Once players have completed a prompt they can write down the important features of their god in the provided notebook. Players will then begin the game by pulling tarot cards and following the 4 phases of the game.
