Product description LET'S GET STABILIZED AND STAY SAFE UP THERE! Step 1 To set into position, simply push the leveler’s lower foot pedal down to a support surface. The leg will extend in increments of 3/16″, up to 10″. You’ll hear the stainless steel ratchet’s reassuring “click” with each increment. Step 2 When the inner leg has been extended to firm footing, you can climb or add additional safety by deploying the “Pop-out” side stabilizer arms. These arms reach approximately 15″ to “each” side of the ladder. Step 3 With both stabilizer arms deployed, the Supreme Extender’s stance is almost 3X the ladder stance, thereby adding substantial side-tip resistance and ultimately, a superior level of safety when climbing and working at heights. Step 4 The Supreme Extender, with both leveler legs fully extended and both stabilizer arms fully extended, can be used effectively on steep slopes up to 25 degrees. THIS JOB IS DONE, LET'S PUT IT AWAY AND GET TO THE NEXT ONE! Step 1 Simply press the release lever down with your toe to retract the support arm. Step 2 Snap and secure the extender arm back onto the spring-loaded locking mechanism. Step 3 Depress the Leveler Leg safety mechanism to retract. Step 4 Lift the leveler's foot pedal with your toe and let it retract back into the starting position. That's it!
