How do I do that ? The DigitalLife MIDI-Box has a mode-switch button that you can use to switch between different modes. Please refer to the user manual or online tutorials to learn how to perform this operation. I've connected the MIDI Interface Box to the USB port of my computer, but why does it seem like it's not working ? This is an stand-alone MIDI interface box. In MIDI Merge or MIDI Thru modes, please connect it directly to an external USB charger. If you want to directly to the computer, please refer to DigitalLife UMB06. I'm using it in MIDI Thru mode, but why does my device seem out of sync ? Ensure that you have switched to the correct MIDI-Thru mode. Do not connect it to the computer through USB. Also, check if your devices are properly configured for the MIDI channel. Is external power required ? DigitalLife UMB05-R 4X4 MIDI Interface requires low power consumption. In MIDI Merge or MIDI Thru modes, connect it directly to an external USB charger.
