Product description The 1N5408 is a high-current silicon rectifier diode designed for general-purpose rectification in power supplies and other medium- to high-power electronic circuits. It belongs to the 1N5400 series, where each diode in the family is rated for 3A continuous current but with different reverse voltage limits. The 1N5408 is the highest-rated in the series, capable of withstanding up to 1000V repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM), making it highly versatile for both low- and high-voltage rectification needs. It is typically packaged in a DO-201AD axial-leaded case, which provides excellent thermal performance and mechanical strength.
