These protective safety glasses feature polycarbonate lenses to protect against impacts and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. The sporty half-frame design improves lower and peripheral vision, while flexible rubber temples and a non-slip nose piece help keep the fit secure and comfortable. LENS COATINGS. ANTI-FOG. The lens features Fog-Off technology for anti-fog protection and fog-free viewing no matter the task. Great for use with dust masks, these lenses won’t fog so you can focus on the job at hand. TESTED TO BE TRUSTED. These impact-resistant safety glasses are tested to ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 High Velocity Impact Protection and optical requirements, the US standard for Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices, and are listed on the frame (Z87.1+ X). These glasses are also tested to MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic Fragmentation, Class 1, the US Military Combat Eye Protection System Performance Specification for eyewear. To pass the military standard, safety glasses must withstand a steel projectile shot at 660 ft / 201m per second, which is 4x faster than the Z87+ standard. Lenses must not puncture, crack, or shatter, and frames must retain the lenses without breaking. These safety glasses are great for protecting your eyes during outdoor work like construction, carpentry/woodworking, or landscaping. They are also great for outdoor hobbies like boating, skiing, fishing, hunting/shooting, sports, and more. CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENS. Available in a variety of lens options ideally suited for a wide range of tasks and light environments. Lens options include Fog-Off // Clear for indoor, low light, and nighttime use with 95% Visual Light Transmission (VLT); Fog-Off // Indoor/Outdoor for indoor, nighttime, hazy, and cloudy environments with 50% VLT; and Fog-Off // Smoke for outdoor bright light with 16% VLT.
