THE DANCESOCKS company was created to improve sneakers for dance. Sneakers are designed for forward and backward motion like running, not the pivoting required in all dance forms. Our socks go over sneakers so you can stop sticking, pivot freely and avoid injury to ankles & knees. FOR SMOOTH FLOORS ONLY: The half socks are designed for well-maintained smooth surfaces like wood, marley, etc. Not for carpet or rubberized flooring. FOR DANCE & FITNESS: Our over sneaker socks are great for line dance, salsa dance, ballroom dance, shuffle dance, dance instruction DVDs, online dance classes, cardio dance lessons, cardio kickboxing and tai chi. HOW TO WEAR: Pull the socks over the front of your shoe. For greater grip pull the socks further onto your sneaker exposing more sole on the toe end. HELPFUL TIP: We suggest starting conservatively using more grip until you get use to the feel. The Dance Socks will increase the range of motion of your sneakers so always test placement before dancing. Step back to make sure you have enough grip and always wear on both feet. The coverage you need depends on dance style, flooring and sneaker. HOW TO CLEAN: We recommend keeping the logo facing up so only one side gets used. Hand wash cold, do not bleach, drip dry.
