Insert cable ends fully into the eyelets—if the tool slips, push them deeper and try again. How do you properly connect the cable ends to the terminal? Insert both cable ends into the round eyelets inside the clamp's tabs (not outside). This keeps the clamp stable when squeezed. If only one end is inserted, the clamp will rotate and slip loose—always check both ends are engaged first. Can this tool be used with any type of hose clamp?
