The heavy filter housing also ensures that the filter stays underwater, resulting in less air being pumped and the pump can be operated safely. Easy to clean stainless steel filter. The penetration of sediments can clog the filter and affect the suction power. For this reason, the Gardena suction filter set has an easy to clean and removable stainless steel filter. This rinses out quickly and ensures more effective filtration and more efficient drainage. Spring-loaded backflow preventer. When water flows backwards through the drainage system, the pump must empty the entire system again with each use, resulting in long waiting times for the water to become available again. That's why the Gardena Suction Filter Kit includes a spring-loaded backflow stop that ensures water always flows in the right direction, even at low intake heights.
