This DVR is recommended for use with ZOSI cameras for the best compatibility and performance. It supports 1080P (2MP), 720P (1MP), and 960H analog cameras, as well as 5MP cameras at 12.5fps. Please ensure 5MP camera match this frame rate requirement. Does this DVR support audio recording? Yes, audio recording is supported only when used with ZOSI audio-over-coax cameras, such as models 1AC-3032F, 1AC-2612F and 1AC-2802. Standard cameras without audio capability will not record sound. Does the DVR come with a hard drive? No. This DVR does not include a hard drive. You will need to install an internal surveillance HDD for recording and playback. External hard drives are not supported. Can this DVR connect to wireless or PoE cameras? No. This is a hard-wired analog DVR and does not support wireless, WiFi, or PoE cameras. It only works with compatible wired analog cameras. Does the system require internet to work? No. The DVR can operate and record locally without an internet connection. Internet access is only required for remote viewing and motion alert notifications.
