The superb craftsmanship of MEINL Headliner Series bongos dominates in sound quality, appearance, durability and value. These bongos are equipped with hand selected buffalo heads that are easy to tune and stay in tune. They have outstanding acoustic properties and are durable enough for the heavier hitters. The shells are constructed of environmentally sustainable Rubber Wood that is lightweight and rugged with voluminous resonating tones that respond beautifully at any volume level.

HOW TO ADJUST PITCH: includes a tuning wrench to make quick adjustments or head changes; tighten the steel tension rods for a higher pitch and loosen to drop pitch (bongos come pre-tuned but may require some adjustment)
BY THE NUMBERS: the heads measure 6 3/4” and 8”; the bongos are 7 3/4" tall and weigh 9.4 lbs with a standard size hardwood connection block that fits any stand (bongo stand sold separately)
