INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERY/TACHOMETER PIGTAIL HARNESS 1.The positive lock connector easily plugs into the HEI distributor, located in front of the coil connector. The connector has a tab on the inside, ensuring it can only be installed in one direction. 2.Once installed, the pigtail wires are color-coded for ease of installation: Red Wire: Connect to a 12V key-switched wire. Green Wire: Connect to the stock or aftermarket tachometer signal wire.
