After replacing the battery, the preset schedule will resume when the power is on again. Why the water hose timer doesn't work, or the screen doesn't display? Check for battery condition. ONLY Powered by 2*AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries (not included). Please do not use rechargeable lithium batteries, or mixed-use old and new batteries which might cause misfunction. Valve won't close or open? 1) Turn dial to AUTO. 2) Press "Manual" button to enter Manual Watering, set for 5-7s watering time, and press "OK" button to run. 3) Turn dial to OFF to stop watering. 4) Repeat the above steps for couple times until the water valve is normal. The hose faucet inlet/outlet leaks? 1) Make sure the faucet/garden hose connector is US NHT 3/4". 2) Make sure the washer is installed correctly in the inlet. 3) Make sure the inlet is connected correctly to the faucet. 4) Strengthen the connection with teflon tape. Why the watering timer does not work when set 12hs later? The timer has a built-in 24-hour system. If the watering schedule is more than twice a day (including 2 times) and the last watering plan is past midnight (to the next day), the timer will reset the watering schedule and stop watering.
