Please set realistic expectations. How to get good results with a CPL filter? Rotate the ring while watching your screen. For reflection reduction, keep the lens at 30–40° to the surface. For sky enhancement, shoot sideways (90°) to the sun. Adjust as needed. Can a CPL eliminate reflections on water or glass? No. It only reduces glare, making reflections look clearer or darker, but not disappear. To fully remove them, change your angle or physically remove the reflective object. Is a CPL useful indoors? Yes, but limited. It reduces harsh reflections on floors, tables, or glass cases, making textures clearer. It cannot remove reflections from metal, mirrors, or polished stone. Does a CPL make the image darker? Yes. It reduces light by about 1–2 stops, which is normal, not a defect. Use in bright conditions, or increase exposure compensation on your phone in low light.
