The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery. The HR007GZ is a brushless Rotary Hammer, adapted for SDS-Plus bits, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger to enable the user to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 5,000 bpm, 980 rpm and 3.0 Joules impact energy. The HR007GZ is equipped with trigger lock function, conveniently located reversing switch, one touch sliding chuck for quick and easy bit installations and removals, depth gauge for increased drilling consistency, LED job light to illuminate the working area and 3 mode operation for rotation only, rotation plus hammer and hammer only. The HR007GZ has a torque limiting clutch to automatically disengage the motor should the bit bind or hit against a reinforcement and anti-restart function to minimise motor start-up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on. The HR007GZ features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) for kickback reduction and to shut down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down, Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT); equipped with anti-vibration main and side handles to reduce the vibration to the user’s hands for less hand and arm fatigue during long and continuous operation, Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) to connect to a compatible Vacuum Cleaner with Bluetooth; chip 198900-7 required, sold separately and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved dust and water resistance for operating in harsher weather conditions. The HR007GZ also features battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not apply where non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool. The use of non-genuine or compatible batteries and chargers with Makita tools will invalidate the guarantee for our tools.
