The PV301DZ is a cordless Sander/Polisher powered by 10.8V or 12V Max CXT slide type battery (not included) to supply energy to the brushless motor, with Variable 2 speed control to allow the operator to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load to deliver up to 9500 rpm sanding and 2800 rpm polishing. The PV301DZ is equipped with trigger lock to minimise accidental start up, lock on switch for continuous use to reduce operator fatigue, anti-restart function and the side grip can be installed on either side of the tool for operator convenience. The PV301DZ features dust covers to minimise ingress of wool dust when buffing with a wool pad and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved dust and water resistance. PV301DZ has an easy to change hook and loop style backing pad for polishing and twist on/off style backing pad for heavy duty operation when sanding. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not apply where non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool. The use of non-genuine or compatible batteries and chargers with Makita tools will invalidate the Makita guarantee for our tools.
