Specialized microbes in the fish tank substrate cleaner help bind excess nutrients, including phosphate and nitrate sources, which can fuel algae, while reducing odors and harmful gas buildup for a healthier environment. As it digests organics, the formula helps clarify cloudy water and can extend time between gravel vacuuming and water changes. Safe for ornamental fish and plants when used as directed.
