It works exactly like the Chemex, Bodum and makes wonderful coffee. It even comes with a little sheet of directions to help you make the perfect cup! When mine arrived it was packaged very securely and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this. It's so so easy to clean and use. And if you don't want to buy the expensive cone filters, you can just get the normal ones and fold them in half. Works just as well!
