What level of chewer are Nomchucks best suited for? Nomchucks will be best for gentle to medium chewers! Since this is a puzzle toy but not meant to be a full on chew toy, we recommend supervising your dog while Nomchucks are in use. How do I insert the treats? To insert treats into the nomchucks, insert the training treats into the hole at the bottom, and then invert the handle and shake a bit, so that the treats make their way through the different chambers inside the handle. How do I clean the Nomchucks? The Nomchucks can be cleaned manually by submerging in a bowl of soapy water, rinsing well with clean water, and then allowing them to air dry. Is the tug safe for all breeds to tug on? We always recommend supervision to both keep your pup safe, and to prolong the life of your toy. Nomchucks are made for gentle to medium chewers, but if your pup breaks off large pieces we recommend removing this toy from your pup’s playtime.
