Anti Shine (110C), ECO (120C), Silk (130C), Auto (140C), Cotton (150C), Jeans (160C), Linen (170C), Turbo (190C) How do I override the automatic shut-off? The 270IR is equipped with an 8-minute auto-off. To disable the auto-off, hold the steam button for 5 seconds. The unit will beep and the lights will flash letting you know the auto-off is disabled. To enable the auto-off, repeated the same process. Do I need to use distilled water? If you have really hard water, we suggest emptying the water tank after use. For best results, always use clean fresh water. The use of distilled water is not required, but it will prolong the life of your iron. What happens if the iron accidentally tips over? If the iron accidentally tips over and the iron left horizontally, the 30-second safety feature will be activated and the iron will shut off. Does the 270IR come with an off button?
