How to install batteries on the Jet Runner. Assembly and Operation 1. Remove all screws from the front panel of the steering unit with the included screwdriver. 2. Remove the front panel and take out the battery compartment tray. 3. Insert 8 D-Cell batteries into the battery compartment tray, following the polarity marked inside the tray. IMPORTANT SECURE THE FRONT PLATE TIGHLY. 4. IMPORTANT: Once battery are placed back inside the compartment, ensure you tighten the screws on the front plate to ensure a water tight seal. Failure to do this will lead to water intrusion. 5. Do not allow the steering unit to be submerged in water. Take care that the Jet Runner is not flipped. Save your breath – grab a pump today!
