A few practical notes from real-world use: some containers may have a noticeable initial odor—air them out in a ventilated area for 24–48 hours if needed; foam density can vary a bit from plug to plug; they’re intended to be disposable, though many people reuse a pair for 1–5 uses (sometimes longer) until it no longer compresses/expands well; and they shouldn’t be used when wet or in water, since moisture changes how the foam performs.
