I started making my hot sauce in the early 2000s, like how my Sicilian grandmother made sauce; slow cooking it in small batches with whole fresh ingredients like lemon juice, garlic cloves, and extra virgin olive oil. In 2013, I began selling it at farmer's markets and eventually landed on the shelves of Whole Foods and the hit show Hot Ones.
