This compact 1” female threaded inlet and outlet valve delivers outstanding performance and unmatched durability. The minimal 2.54” spin radius is ideal for tight installations and fits more valves in a single valve box. Patented eccentric diaphragm produces smoother closing with less water hammer for maximum reliability. Provides maximum performance in harsh environments with its glass-filled polypropylene body, Buna-N diaphragm, self-cleaning 90-mesh (200 micron) water filter and stainless-steel spring. Unique reverse-flow design closes valve in case of diaphragm failure to prevent flooding. External bleed screw manually flushes dirt and debris from system after installation and during system start up. Internal bleed design provides spray-free manual operation. Captive multi-drive screws provide easy access and faster bonnet removal. Designed for below-ground installation out of sight and away from playful hands. Works with any underground irrigation controller brand. Specifications: pressure rating 15-150 psi, 24 VAC 50/60 Hz, flow rate 0.2-30 GPM. NOTE: Inground installation of in-line valves will require a pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) or double-check valve to prevent backflow. Check local codes to determine what type of valve is required.
