Product description Specifications Continuous Power: 3000W Surge Power: 9000W Transfer Time: ~ 10ms Battery Types: GEL, AGM, SLA, FLD, CAL, LI, USER Output Waveform: Pure Sine Wave Operating Temperature: -20-40°C/-4-104°F Dimensions: 20.1 x 11.2 x 7.6 in Weight: 63.5 lbs REGO 12V 3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger w/ LCD Display Description The inverter charger combines the inverter and battery charger into one complete solution. It transforms the DC power stored in the battery bank into standard household AC power. It also recharges popular 12V house batteries when AC power is available. The integrated transfer relay with neutral ground bonding allows switching from shore power mode to inverter and vise versa ensures your RV doesn't lose power unexpectedly. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to monitor and manage it. Powerful Output Ready for Anything Built-in Bluetooth Connectivity High-efficiency Charging and Stability Comprehensive Protection Power Your Off-grid Life The REGO 3000W Inverter Charger transforms the DC power stored in the battery bank into standard household AC power. It also charges and maintains the battery bank when connected to shore power. The inverter charger is compatible with all kinds of popular 12V battery types, GEL, AGM, SLA, FLD, CAL, and Lithium. Ideal for applications going back and forth from shore and inverter power automatically. Built-in Bluetooth Connectivity, Controls the Energy in Your Hands The built-in Bluetooth allows you to monitor the status of the REGO inverter charger via the Renogy App directly on your smartphone. The device can also connect with the Renogy One M1, the all-in-one dashboard provides you access to accurate real-time energy data of your whole system. *Note: Renogy One M1 is sold separately. 4-Stage Charging Technology, Maximize the Efficiency and Battery Life The REGO 3000W pure sine wave inverter charger utilizes 4-stage charging(Bulk, Boost, Float, EQU), to maintain the highest state of charge for the battery. This ensures the battery can be efficiently and automatically charged to 100% and maximize the battery lifespan. Easy-to-Use LCD Display Panel The REGO inverter charger features a bright LCD display that allows you to easiliy identify the current operation status and alert messages. You can easily navigate the display pages or set the parameters of the inverter charger with the four function keys below the display. The input voltage range and battery charging current are configurable. Smart Design Easy access panels make connecting the REGO Inverter Charger a simple affair significantly saving time during installation Tested to the Highest Standard International certifications: FCC Class B Part 15 Compliant, UL458 (including Marine supplement), and CSA-C22.2 No 107.1. Q: Can you use 2-100ah lithium ion batteries with the 3,000 watt inverter? I think I read somewhere that it requires 3-100ah batteries. A: Yes you can but many lithium batteries will have a BMS (battery Management system) that can limit the output current. Most (not All) 100 ah battery manufacturers will limit current to 100 DC amps continuous. If this is exceeded then the BMS may turn off the battery. So (2) 100AH batteries may have a max current of 200 amps. This would not be enough to drive all 3000 watts for this inverter but you should be able to do about 2000 watts. You can but the batteries may not be able to put out enough current to get 3000 watts out of the inverter. Q: How do I attach the temperature sensor to the batteries? A: I wedged mine between a couple of the leads that connect to the battery. Q: Anyone having trouble running a 1100 watt microwave with the 3000 watt unit with nothing else on? A: Ours does fine - but check to make sure your wires are heavy enough gauge to handle it. Q: I asked this before and got an answer that didnt answer my question what generators are compatible with this inverter? Links to any? A: Any 60/hz generator is compatable with inverter/charge. The inverter having electronic component would be ideal with inverter type generator. I use 6k onan generator with no problem. I have notice to charge batteries it draw quite a bit of power. For 1k inverter I would recomend at lease 3000 watt generator. Q: What are the implications of getting a 2000 watt vs 3000 watt? I will have a total of 630 watt in solar panels and 100-200ah lithium battery. A: I sent mine back because it limits the system to 24 amps regardless of it being a 30 or 50 amps system. A whole lot of stuff is the trailer won't be able to work.
