If your computer only has USB-C ports, you will need a separate USB-C to USB-A adapter (not included). This enclosure is for SATA drives only. SAS, M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA, NVMe PCIe, and IDE/PATA drives are not compatible. Note: Some 3.5" drives 4TB and above with taller-than-standard PCB assemblies may not seat correctly. Please verify your drive's physical dimensions if in doubt. Features: USB Type-A, USB 3.0 with UASP: USB Type-A host connection. Theoretical maximum 625 MB/s; typical real-world speeds are 100–180 MB/s for HDDs and up to 400–500 MB/s for SSDs. Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
