The Seagate Nytro 3350 XS960SE70055 is a 960GB enterprise-class SAS 12 Gb/s solid state drive built for demanding server virtualization, OLTP databases, software-defined storage, and all-flash array deployments. It features a dual-port 12 Gb/s SAS interface delivering up to 2150 MB/s sustained sequential read and 1300 MB/s sustained sequential write throughput in dual-port mode, with up to 250,000 IOPS random read. Built on 3D eTLC NAND in a compact 2.5-inch × 15mm form factor, the drive is rated at 1 DWPD with 1,700TB total write endurance over its rated life. Reliability is backed by a 2.5 million hour MTBF. This is the standard Seagate Secure SED (Self-Encrypting Drive) model, supporting TCG-compliant host-based encryption for government-grade data security and meeting ISO/IEC 27040 and NIST 800-88 standards for data sanitization. Drive health monitoring is supported via SeaChest utilities. This dual-labeled drive carries both Seagate and IBM branding and is fully compatible with any system supporting a standard 2.5-inch SAS interface — it is not limited to IBM-branded systems. Not compatible with desktop PCs — requires a SAS HBA or RAID controller.
