A3: This issue is typically caused by insufficient internal lubrication for new tools or inadequate inlet air pressure/airflow. Before using any pneumatic tool for the first time, apply 3 to 5 drops of specialised pneumatic tool oil to the air inlet; once connected to the air supply, set the pressure regulator to approximately 50 PSI and allow the tool to run idle for 1 minute to lubricate the internal rotor assembly and ensure proper operation. Gradually increase the pressure to 60–70 PSI and run the tool idle for a short time; finally, ensure that the pressure gauge stabilises at 90 PSI when working. Do not run the tool idle at 90 PSI; if it stops as soon as you start working, this indicates that the air compressor’s flow rate (CFM) is insufficient.
