Product description What's unique about Snake and Pig: Comfort, not goggle marks: No suction! The double-walled air-cushion gasket gives a much softer fit. Less one-sided leaking: The Basilisk has three interchangeable nose pieces to match your eye-to-eye spacing. Adjust the fit on the fly: Fish-tail rolling buckles adjust easily on both sides. Prevent panda eyes and reduce goggle marks The air cushion is an air tube that feels like a pillow. It distributes pressure to a wider area, leaving less of a mark. You may still see some goggle marks right after swimming, but your co-workers will notice them much less! Exchangeable curved nose piece Less one-sided leaking: The Basilisk has three interchangeable nose pieces to match your eye-to-eye spacing. Fits high nose bridges: The curved nose piece leaves plenty of space underneath, so it will not cut into the bridge of your nose. Super-easy adjustments Adjust one-handed without taking off the goggles. Fish-tail rolling buckles make it possible. Pull backward to tighten. Pull forward to loosen. Easy! Triathlon and open water swimming Triathletes and open water swimmers love Snake & Pig goggles. With the comfort of the air cushion, the Basilisk is ideal for Ironman triathlons and long ocean swim challenges. How Do You Clean Swimming Goggles? Your goggles will benefit from a quick rinse with clear tap water after use to prevent any build-up of chemicals, salt, and debris. Once your goggles are clean, allow them to air dry. Do not wipe them dry. Wiping your goggles with a beach towel or a microfiber cloth can damage the antifog coating, and can cause blue spots. Drying your goggles after each swim is the best way to avoid mold from growing. A damaged antifog coating can be removed by soaking the goggles in water overnight. The coating should be softened after that, and can be removed with a soft sponge. Anti-fog Sometimes the factory-applied anti-fog coating needs to be activated. If a new pair of goggles turn blurry after a few minutes of swim, submerge your goggles in water, then let the water drain. Next, smear the inside of the lenses with your soft fingertip (avoid touching with finger nails). After swiping the wet lens 3-10 times, the lens should feel a bit slippery, and should not fog. If the lenses are not slippery at all, the original anti-fog coating has worn off. After the original anti-fog coating is gone, you can use baby shampoo or a commercial anti-fog product to keep your lenses clear. DIY anti-fog solution application bottle Add 2 small drops of baby shampoo, fill not-quite-full with drinkable water, and mix gently. Squeeze the sides of the bottle to get liquid to come out as you gently smear it over the surface of the lens with the sponge tip. Don’t press the sponge tip down hard onto the lens since the plastic part that holds the sponge could scratch the lens.
