Product description Fluorocarbon Line Polyvinylidene Fluoride Single Filament fishing line has a fast sinking speed with no moisture absorption. Nearly invisible in the water and has slightly less stretch than nylon line. Knot strength: 70% of straight strength. Nylon Line Polyamide monofilament fishing line has a sinking speed of 1.14 with a moderate amount of stretch to help absorb shock. Diameter and stretch increase with water absorption. Knot strength: 85% of straight strength. PE/Braided Line Ultra high strength polyethylene fiber does not absorb moisture giving it minimal stretch. Most line made with this material either suspends or floats in the water. The strength of this line can be 3-3.5x stronger than nylon line.
