The large easy-read 3/8”-high LCD blinks while stabilizing then emits an audible beep when an accurate temperature is reached. Auto shut-off after 9 minutes. VERSATILE & SAFE: Designed for rectal use in animals. Stainless steel probe is 3/16” (5mm) diameter with blunt end for safe insertion. Normal temperatures for common pets and farm animals are printed on the back for convenient reference. The tough durable plastic body and surgical-grade stainless-steel probe surfaces are designed for easy cleaning and disinfection. BUILT TOUGH: Tough, durable, plastic thermometer body measures 4” x 1-1/8” x 5/8” (102mm x 29 mm x 16 mm) and fits comfortably and ergonomically in hand.
