The viewer meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A156.16 specifications and is UL fire rated for up to 1-1/2 hours. It can be installed in a 5/8" diameter hole in doors 1-3/8" to 2-1/6"(35mm-55mm) thick. Door viewers, also called peepholes, consist of a lens and cylinder which is inserted into a door, allowing a view outside.
