When volatile organic compounds (VOCs), other gaseous contaminants, and odors come into contact with the TIO2 surface, they are converted to odorless, harmless water vapor and Carbon Dioxide. Powerful Ozone Generator The Whole Home O3 PURE Air Purifier is equipped with a powerful on board ozone generator. The ozone is produced by ceramic purification plates within the unit. If ever damaged the plates are fully replaceable. The ozone generator converts regular O2 molecules into O3. These attack indoor contaminants both in the air and on surfaces such as smoke, cooking odors, chemicals, litter boxes and many other odor causing sources. The ozone function is fully adjustable and the unit can be run with the ozone function turned completely off. The timer function also allows the machine to run while the space is unoccupied.
